To ensure that we are able to provide the highest quality clinical care, Event Medical Plus employees are brought on board through a very stringent accreditation process. Our employees are accredited to the following clinical levels:
Our responders are qualified healthcare practitioners who hold a minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Healthcare (Ambulance), or equivalent, and hold significant experience in the care and management of injured persons and emergency situations in the context of an out-of-hospital setting.
Our nurses are qualified and practising Registered Nurses who hold a current Advanced Life Support accreditation as endorsed by the Australian Resuscitation Council. The nurses that Event Medical Plus employs hold significant experience in the management and care of critically ill and injured persons under emergency conditions.
Our paramedics are qualified to a level that is equivalent to that of a practising paramedic with the state ambulance authority. As of December 1st 2018, they are registered as a ‘Paramedic’ with the Paramedicine Board of Australia. Event Medical Plus paramedics are either currently practising as state ambulance authority paramedics, or are healthcare professionals at an equivalent level to state ambulance authority paramedics.
Our Doctors are current practising medical practitioners who hold a current Advanced Life Support accreditation as endorsed by the Australian Resuscitation Council. Event Medical Plus Doctors are able to practice to their own, respective clinical scope of practice. We are able to engage those qualified specialists whose expertise is appropriate to your event.
